starting the new year

well i have decided to post what i plan to do this year so that it is now in print and i am responsible for maintaining the outcome. i want to finish my sons dragon picture this year, i want to finish a kustom kraft cross stitch called dolphins at play, also one called mystic tigers, i am doing a stitch a long with two groups...one is a sweet lady by the name of Rae Ann, we are doing stockings, here is the link to her blog http://1czyquiltersniche.blogspot.com/ also one for a book mark from HEAD that is called enchanted garden, this is just adorable. soo there it is out there in print...now to get working on a finish i must do today..a book mark for my granddaughter ....she picked mona lisa of all things...lol.

i finished two projects yesterday...one a snow flake from oakhaven cross stitch group..the other is Tech Support by calico crossroads. hope you enjoy the photos...got the tech support amed...not sure how to treat the snowflake as of yet...thank you TOnia for such wonderful gift.

ahhh dang foot ...grr

well i wanted to show those who check my blog that my foot is doing same thing it did last year...here is the photo from me cleaning my craft area beside couch after about three hours of work...i am soo tired of this...

Last but not least i am going to post what i have done on my son's dragon...this shows some of the flames and some of the lights that come from it...more coming soon so keep asking and i will try to get more done.

fabric for cross stitch dying

good afternoon everyone. here is the results of my dying job...then my redye. also the cross stitch i am working on for my father in law for christmas. only a little more to go..yippeee. kitted up my dragon for the dyed fabric for my son...only have to get about a dozen skeins of floss. and i am giving away to a wonderful lady some of my stash...it has not even touched all i own.

so much has happened...still not walking without aides...been stitching my heart out on some cross stitch...and took over a yahoo group which i am going to try to send a link here. it is a 1930s group with only 20 members in it...we need more and i hope to get this group up and moving.

foot news

for those following about my foot, got news yesterday that i did not need to come back up for a cast but ...there is always a but with me isn't there, i can not walk on it yet. that will be another month before i get the ok there. as long as i use the boot and wheelie...i am good.

today i am going to be sitting again and cross stitching..next monday i go to get cast off i hope. my fingers are crossed that it will be allowed. i am so scared that the fusion did not take again. but time will tell.

chance seems to be growing huge...now he can no longer fit on my roll about comfortably. it is sooo funnny.

bruiser had to be outside with mike while it was raining..wanted to come in and lay on the couch.

saturday we went and saw something about steve...i was getting down and needed an uplift and getting out of the house. long rides are not comfortable for me and i can't walk much cause all the blood goes into my toes if i am walking. it just hangs there.... that gets uncomfortable. so the movies got me out..made me feel kinda normal...and gave me something stupid to laugh at.

this week

not much is going on really..day sixty of this cast. on the 14th I go see what is going to happen next. praying it comes off and I get to start walking. will be a diffrent experience i know...but I will go on. have been sitting and cross stitching...looking forward to maybe the machine next week. time will tell...

what will today bring

today we will be heading to buckeye furnace...down near jackson ohio...may post some pictures later not sure. enjoying the weekend and keeping busy..looking forward to monday when i can rest!!!!

Miss Mystic

here is a picture of our middle cat...just like a middle child she holds to herself quite often. she is the wonderful cat that i received from a service man in chillicothe ohio who could not take her to the base. she has brighened our world...
